Shakthi Surabhi
Shakthi Surabhi is a Bio-methanation plant developed by VK-NARDEP for producing biogas from kitchen and vegetable waste.The plant is a result of research of almost a quarter of a century as well as fieldwork put forth by the engineers and extension workers of VK - nardep. It is an improvement over the general floating drum type biogas plant. It comes in both portable and fixed type designs. The plants have a user-friendly design and suited for both urban and rural environment. Both affordable price and adorable design are the hallmarks of this model. Fixed type Shakthi Surabhi Plant
Besides economizing on cooking fuel needs, it also makes kitchen free of wastes. Shakti Surabhi comes with an illustrated user manual that makes the operations very simple.
It is not just kitchen waste that the Shakti Surabhi takes in. It takes in any biodegradable waste matter- particularly those rich in starch.
