Dear Friends,

Namaskaram!

William Wordsworth (7 April 1770 – 23 April 1850) was an English Romantic poet. Wordsworth's magnum opus is generally considered to be The Prelude, a semi-autobiographical poem of his early years that he revised and expanded a number of times. In this issue, we have given some of his quotable quotes.

This month, our front page covers an inspiring story of an eagle which conveys us not to be afraid of a change, asks us to open up our minds and fly like an eagle.

In happenings section, we have covered (i) Work in the field of “Harit Aajeevika” (ii) Follow up training programme on “Harit Aarogya” (iii) National conference on Application of Siddha Varmam Therapy for ”Primary and Common Health problems” (iv) Workshop on “Traditional Siddha Varma Bone Setting Practices”  (v) National conference on Siddha varmam therapy for “Preventive care and Varmam Thattadangal methods” (vi) Commissioning of Bio-methanation plant (vii) Swachh Bharat Mission – Gobar Dhan field functionaries training (viii) Revival and Renovation of Surya and Siva Teerthams (ix) Paper presentation (x) Annual day and Swami Vivekananda Jayanthi etc.

In the wisdom section, extracts from WFDD conveys us that globalisation offers us an opportunity of “Diversity in Unity”. Elizabeth Dowdeswell, Ex. Executive Director of UNEP toes the line of Mahatma Gandhi by writing that Sustainable development is more related to values rather than science and technology and finally Henryk Solimowski, Polish Philosopher emphasises the importance of Ecological Responsibility for the survival of the Planet.
