An important part of all activities of VK-NARDEP is inner sustainability. It is also the manifest-theme in the motivation camps as well as other eco-technology camps, that are held frequently in our campus. This noveland holistic approach to inner sustainability has won the appreciation of many government agencies as well as NGOs. So this year also several such motivation workshop for the officials of the TIIC (Tamil Nadu Industrial Investment Corporation) was conducted by VK-NARDEP at its TRC. VK-nardep conducts many camps for inner rejuvenation for government officials and NGOs. Apart from that every summer VK-nardep also conducts children camps for inculcating scientific temper and love for nature in children. Our networking and inner sustainability activities have earned widespread appreciation from the participants. We also conduct sustainable technologies awareness camps for village level grassroot democracy leaders like Panchayat presidents and village development officials. The camps create not only awareness for eco-technologies but they also make the participants imbibe the values to live by for sustainability.

Government officials from TWAD, Forest department etc. have come and attended the rejuvenation as well as motivation camps conducted by VK-nardep. In these camps they participate in a lot of inter-personnel realtions activities and sessions that combine traditional Indian wisdom and modern psychology. Human values, personnel management, introduction to sustainable technologies all form part of these sessions.Uniqueness of the programmes lies in giving importance to physical,mental, intellectual and emotional dimensions of the personality of the officials. These camps transform the officials into better officials with more efficiency and a boost to their humaneness.

Gramodaya Park for the Right Living provides a model for the development of village through sustainable development. In its quest for a practical model of eco-technologies, many development workers as well as NGOs and government agencies study the VK-nardep Gramodaya model. They send village panchayat presidents and Gramasevaks for studying eco-technologies at TRC Kalluvillai.

They also learn about all the aspects of eco-technologies including cost-effective construction, water management, sustainable agriculture, renewable energy and holistic medicine. In 2012 three batches of village peoples’ representatives came to TRC Kalluvillai. The first batch with 39 persons (from 16th to 18th of May), the second batch with 37 persons (from 21st to 23rd of May) and third batch with 38 persons (from 25th to 27th of May) got exposure to various eco-technologies at Technology Resource Centre at Kalluvillai. They visited the Gramodaya Park for Right Living at Vivekanandapuram and a few places to see the implemented technologies.

Every summer at VK-nardep, camps are organized for children for inculcating scientific temper. Children who attend these camps get rewarding experience of listening to inspiring lectures, daily schedules of disciplined yet fun-filled life, yoga sessions, mountain trekking and much more. This summer (2012) two camps were held for children. The first camp was organized from 3rd to 7th and 108 students attended it. The second camp was from 9th to 13th and 64 children attended it.

Family gFamily get-togethers always foster good and healthy relations. They also help the individuals in coping with the pressures and problems of modern life. VK-nardep annually conducts family camps for the members of the organization and also others who are interested. Family participation by the camp inmates makes the participants feel whole and connected to their family members as well as others. This helps the participants to improve their relations with the fellow human beings and also spend quality time with their own family members. These camps also bring out the hidden talents of the family members and make each and every person feel himself or herself as a whole personality with organic relations all around.
